Katie’s Season Off to a Great Start
Texas Swimming Club’s Katie Trounce has started the 2025/26 season on a high, earning medals and personal bests at two recent carnivals.
At the Allora Carnival on October 18, Katie took out first place in the 50m Freestyle and third in the 50m Breaststroke.
She followed this up more strong swims at the Gatton Carnival on October 25, placing second in the 200m Freestyle and third in the 100m Breaststroke. Impressively, she recorded personal best times in all four races.
Katie was the sole representative for the Texas Swimming Club, but that didn’t stop her from making a big impression. She’s been training almost daily since the Texas Pool reopened, and her hard work — both in the pool and the gym — is clearly paying off.
