Nix Farewell
The Glenarbon Church Hall was the venue for locals to gather on the evening of 8th November, for a shared meal and get together to say goodbye to Brenda and Bob Nix as they prepared to leave the area to start the next chapter of their lives.

Suzi presented Brenda with a framed photograph from the Glenarbon Birthday Girls, the group she helped found some 13 years ago. The photo of Brenda founder, Heather patron, and Suzi new leader, is surrounded by the names of the birthday girls past and present.
Phillip presented Bob with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of the Yelarbon Men’s shed in recognition of his time spent on their many projects.
A beautiful iron bark carving board given to Brenda and Bob as a lasting memento of their time in the community was made and presented by Michael Fearby.
Everyone in attendance signed a beautiful card, made by Angel Fearby, with words to hopefully stir the memory in years to come.
