The audience was very impressed with the repertoire with beautifully played pieces from several composers ranging from Rossini to Chopin, Schumann to Beethoven, concluding with Debussy. The event has encouraged one young local girl, who attended with her family, to aim to be just as good, according to her mother.

A visitor, who was travelling through Texas, decided to stay and attend and could not believe that she was able to attend such a concert in our little country town. She was very impressed with her stay at the free camp and the warm welcome she received from the local people.

During intermission, a lovely spread was provided for all to indulge in whilst they caught up with friends and spoke with Roman. Roman said that his next stop was Katherine in the Northern Territory. We were very privileged to have had him select Texas as his first port of call. Thank you to the Texas Arts Council for organizing this wonderful event.
