Texas P-10 SS News - High School Camp / Year 6 Graduation

Each year, the high school students go on camp to participate in activities that aren’t readily available in and around Texas. In the past they have gone to the beach for an ocean experience. This year they had a bush experience and got to do a few unique activities.

Recently students in year 7 to 9 travelled to Maroon Dam for their annual camp. They participated in a variety of outdoor activities with the highlights being canoeing, hiking and an overnight camp out. Miss Loader and Mr Doughty reported that the students were extremely well behaved and enjoyed the camp immensely. Students spoke fondly of their camp experience when they returned to Texas.

Year 6 Graduation

A bright and joyful ceremony marked the Year 6 graduation at Texas P-10 SS on Friday morning, as families, staff and students gathered to celebrate the end of a memorable chapter. Mrs Trim led the event and went to great lengths to make the morning special for every graduate, ensuring the day was filled with personal touches and warm tributes.

Sadly, farewells were given to Zane, Everly and Hayley who will be moving on to new schools in 2026. Congratulations to the Year 6 class – Texas P-10 State School wishes you all the best in your next chapter.
