New Audiovisual Equipment at the Texas Hall... and for the past two years Texas School has been upgrading the computers accessed by students.
New Audiovisual Equipment at the Texas Hall
Recently, new audiovisual equipment has been installed at the Texas Hall. The project was the brainchild of Texas School’s Head of Department, Miss Jill Hazard, who, through the P&C, submitted a successful Community Gambling Fund application in conjunction with the Goondiwindi Regional Council.
The idea came from years of having to transport audiovisual equipment from school to the hall for school functions, often battling the elements. As a result of Miss Hazard’s hard work and persistence the Texas community has an extremely valuable asset which will be enjoyed by Texans for many years to come.
For the past two years Texas School has been upgrading the computers accessed by students.
Since 2024 considerable investment has been made to ensure all students have access to a reliable laptop computer. In that time, over 60 laptops have been purchased giving all high school students a new laptop and the primary school computer lab, newly purchased machines. All laptops are on a replacement schedule which will keep the computers made available to students at a high standard.
